The Process
Basic Design Discussion & Rough Pricing

This is a free consultation to discuss the big picture. This includes your goals, design inspiration, etc. We’ll do our best to offer a rough price range based on your wish list, location, and any other up-front information we receive.
Lot or Property Search

If you haven’t already secured your lot to build on or home you’d like to renovate, we’ll partner with you and your realtor to find the perfect property. Don’t have a realtor? We’ll connect you with the right agent to help!
Build Contract

Once we have final plans, finish details, and pricing, we’ll put together a formal construction contract and get rolling!
Design

You are ready to roll and we’re SO excited to work with you! All of our design is done in-house in our very own cozy design studio. After initial discussions on finishes and design vibe, our designer will gather samples and finishes and present to you…no running around to a million showrooms and trying to navigate selections all by yourself! We’ll ensure a seamless, cohesive design throughout your home.

Design Engagement
During this phase, we will discuss the overall space, finish details, and your design vibe. We’ll have plans drawn, define general finishes (material types for each space, not specific selections), provide general design concepts, as well as gather other tools and information we need for construction. Once we have final plans and finishes, we will put a formal estimate together. This baby step doesn’t commit you to working with us; we don’t believe in signing an official construction contract until you have all the details and pricing. There’s a fee for this step, but you keep every bit of the work we do together, even if you don’t move forward with construction.

Begin Construction
Construction length varies drastically based on the project. We’ll keep you updated on the schedule every week and like to schedule regular walk-throughs to ensure your happiness!

Pre-Move-In Orientation
We will do one final walk-through with you after your home is complete! We want to show you all the things and be sure we haven’t missed any areas that need a final tweak. Within a couple weeks of your final walk-through, we hand over the keys and can’t WAIT for you to enjoy your new or renovated home!

We divide the design of your home into the following two phases:
Design Engagement

During Phase 1, we want to hear all about your space needs and big-picture design vibe. What’s your daily routine like? Do you like to entertain, work from home, need a home gym, or dream of your very own Pickleball court? We want you to have a design that works with your everyday needs!

Whole-House
Finish Design
During Phase 2, we’ll nail down all the details from cabinet design to flooring, tile, lighting, etc. We have our very own cozy design studio to meet and dream in!
